Together, this system delivers a Work Integrated Training experience that is NEP-aligned, industry-relevant, and student-centric
We identify 10+2 pass youth — especially from rural or underserved communities — and introduce them to the TrainNova pathway through schools, NGOs, social workers, and village influencers.
Students are onboarded into a partner company as paid interns. At the same time, they are enrolled in an academic program offered by TISS School of Skill Education.
Each week follows a structured cycle:
5 days On-the-Job Training (OJT) at the workplace
1 day of classroom instruction (theory, life skills, digital skills)
1 day rest
Students earn ₹15,000 to ₹20,000/month — while progressing toward a certified degree.
TrainNova manages attendance, exam prep, performance tracking, mentorship, and issue resolution — so that students stay on track, employers get reliable performance, and TISS ensures academic outcomes.
The program runs for 3 years — but students can exit after Year 1 (with Certificate) or Year 2 (with Diploma), as per the National Education Policy (NEP). Those who complete all 3 years receive a full Bachelor’s Degree from TISS SSE.
